Composing

I have been lucky enough to work with lots of exciting groups and individuals composing music for theatre, stage and screen.

One of my personal favourites was composing all the music and soundscapes for Not Quite Right Collective's original show "The Beautifully Curious Reclaimed Night Sideshow" which was performed promenade style throughout Winchester. As well as composing I music I also performed in the show as a wandering minstrel with a 2 foot beard! Some examples of the music from the show can be found below.

As a songwriter I have been part of the team writing songbooks for younger children with Portsmouth Music Hub. In 2014 these songbooks won the "Best Printed Resource" award from the Music Education Council and are available to buy now nationwide.

Each songbook is around a theme such as history ("Timescape"), space ("Spacescape"), the olympics ("Singathalon") and wildlife ("Animal Tracks")

I am very excited about the release of the new songbook, "Science-scape", which contains two new songs by myself about fossilisation ("Fossil Rock") and circulation ("We've Got The Beat") which is medically approved!
